Welcome to the UK Sea Fishing FAQ
The FAQ was written in the late '90's by Colin Albert.
I have put the UK Sea Fishing FAQ online here, to allow FREE access to anyone interested in viewing the FAQ, without having to register.
I have made very few changes to the FAQ:
- I have split up some of the pages to make them more readable.
- I have removed out of date links and email addresses.
- I have, rarely, improved the formatting and layout for better Web Viewing.
- I have converted the UK Sea Angling FAQ to HTML format for World Wide Web Publishing.
- Other than that, the UK Sea Angling FAQ is as it was published by Colin Albert in 1998 and 1999.
- The pages, design and layout at UKSeaFishing.Com displayed here are copyrighted to me - I have put a lot of hard work into this.
Please note: Although much of the information in the UK Sea Fishing FAQ will be dated, the essential information relating to the knowledge base of UK Sea Angling is still relevant. In particular, the techniques, tackle and bait pages are particularly useful.
Caution is advised in expecting addresses, telephone numbers and contacts, to still be current for tackle suppliers, publications and so on, as I have decided to leave all such in the FAQ, just as they were published in the late nineties - they MIGHT still be useful.
I suggest you check an alternative source always, to confirm addresses, contacts, telephone numbers and factual information.
Much of the conservation information is probably out of date - in the interests of preserving our UK Sea Fishing resources, remember that these pages are probably not at all accurate, and more up to date conservation information may be available elsewhere.
Also the law relating to the activities of the UK Sea Angler may also be out of date, there have almost certainly been changes and updates to the law, so don't rely on what you read in the FAQ.
The main CONTENTS page for the UK Sea Fishing FAQ, gives you an overview of what is included in the FAQ. Use the left PAGES menu on every page of the FAQ to navigate around the UK Sea Fishing FAQ.
Lastly, there is an (RSS / XML) feed for the UK Sea Angling FAQ now, which can be accessed at the bottom of every page of the FAQ.
Anyway, have fun with the UK Sea Fishing FAQ! and, as they say, TIGHT LINES!
